Manzanos’ fifth generation decided to invest more in vineyards. Although almost the whole production was from their own vines, they wanted to make sure they could control all the process from the beginning, from the seed of the vine. Viñedos Casa Manzanos joins the investments of both David and Víctor Fernández de Manzanos to guarantee that Manzanos wines style and quality is the same over time.
The company was founded in 2011 and includes 60 ha of vineyards in San Adrián, all of them belong to apellation Rioja. This land, owned by David and Víctor Fernández de Manzanos is used to grow graciano, tempranillo, garnacha and sauvignon blanc grape varieties. Lately their focus has been graciano grape, it is a delicate grape to grow that, however, unfolds its potential in this cool, sunny and dry climate. Using these graciano vines and devoted to widen our range of signature wines, we have created two graciano monovarietals of completely different style and target audience.
